Communication Services
Dedicated Service
This service offers satellite transponder capacity for communications links.
Within their designated transponder capacity, customers can assemble a variety
of satellite-based systems or networks for voice, image, data transmission and
other applications.

Space IP Service
This service uses the broad coverage of satellite communications to enable
the development of broadband environments in areas without terrestrial infrastructure.
This “best effort” service for corporate customers ensures broadband connectivity,
offering upload speeds of up to 2 Mbps and download speeds of up to 10 Mbps.

LIVECOM Service
The LIVECOM service consists of JSAT's ＳＡＯ service, which offers voice and
data transmission via 2HOP satellite links, and analog LIVECOM services, which
solely provides voice transmission.

Mega Wave Marine
The Mega Wave Marine service utilizes the broad coverage of satellite communications
to offer high data speeds for ships. This “best effort” service for corporate
customers maintains broadband connectivity with speeds of up to 3 Mbps on downlinks
(satellite to ship).

International Part-time Service
This service is a part-time international transmission service that uses the C-band transponder on JCSAT-3 and JCSAT-2A, as well as the Ku-band transponder on JCSAT-1B. The Type-A Dedicated Service Contract allows customers to reserve periods of use as needed, while the Type-B Dedicated Service Contract requires them to specify periods of use a year in advance.
Digital Distribution Service
This service offers domestic digital video transmission under three types
of service contracts. The Type-A and Type-B Dedicated Service Contract both provide
services on the distribution route via a JSAT-provided earth station. The Type-C
Dedicated Service Contract provides services both on the concentrator route and
on the distribution route.

Dedicated Service between Foreign Countries
This service provides interactive communications between countries other than Japan. A full-time Dedicated Service and part-time Dedicated Service are available. There is also Bandwidth Class.
Dedicated Telecommunications Service for Broadcast on Satellite
This dedicated service provides satellite broadcasting services for broadcasters.
Programs are relayed via satellite (Satellite Station). Service commenced in
March 2002.

Dedicated Telecommunications Service for Broadcast on Satellite (short-term)
This is a dedicated service that broadcasts CS digital television programs
(via Satellite Station) for a limited duration of one month or less. Service
commenced in May 2002.

Dedicated Telecommunications Service for Audio Broadcast on Satellite
This dedicated service provides satellite broadcasting services for broadcasters.
Programs are relayed via satellite (Satellite Station). Service commenced in
May 2002.

Broadcasting Services
Satellite Digital Multichannel Broadcasting Service (CS Digital Broadcasting)
This service provides digital multichannel broadcasting services for program-supplying
broadcasters via satellite (Broadcasting Satellite Station). This broadcasting
service started in June 1996.

JCSAT-110 Digital Broadcasting Service (110 East Longitude CS Digital Broadcasting)
This service provides the broadcasting services for program-supplying broadcasters
via JCSAT-110 (Broadcasting Satellite Station). Service commenced in May 2002.
