Asia’s Largest Satellite Operator.
Established via a merger between two Japanese satellite oprators, SKY Perfect JSAT is the only satellite operator in Japan, and is also the largest in Asia.
The coverage area of the communications satellites owned by SKY Perfect JSAT encompasses not only all of Japan but extends across mainland Asia, Oceania and North America, enabling the provision of highly reliable satellite-based communications services.
The main applications in which satellites are used today span a diverse range of services in an array of fields. In addition to their use in “SKY PerfecTV!” and “SKY PerfecTV! e2” multi-channel pay TV services, another of our core business, satellites are being utilized as live transmission lines for terrestrial stations, in the development of communications networks in geographically inaccessible regions and during times of disaster, for internal corporate communications, and for the provision of mobile communications services to land-, sea-, and air-based modes of transportation.
Today, SKY Perfect JSAT is creating new business opportunities on a global scale, from the sale of telecommunications links in Asia to conducting joint ventures with the world’s largest provider of fixed satellite services, Intelsat.
It is our mission to expand the scope of entertainment in Japan.

We continue to develop various transmission routes, including satellite, optical fiber, IP and mobile.
We aim to deliver programs that subscribers want to watch, when and where they want to watch them. As digital technology advances, our content will grow ever more appealing and available over increasingly convenient platforms.
