SKY Perfect JSAT began operations in October 1996 as “PerfecTV!,” a digital broadcaster in the Japanese market. Today, as Japan’s only domestic CS digital platform operator, we own and manage the “SKY PerfecTV!” multichannel pay TV broadcast service. The “SKY PerfecTV!” multichannel pay TV broadcast service consists of the “SKY PerfecTV!” service (124/128 degree east longitude CS digital broadcast), the “SKY PerfecTV! ｅ２” service (CS digital broadcast via the communications satellite at the same 110 degree east longitude as broadcast satellite (BS)), the “SKY PerfecTV! HIKARI” multichannel service delivered via fiber optic network, and content delivered via Internet Protocol or to mobile devices. Nearly 3.7 million subscribers trust “SKY PerfecTV!” for their media services.

At the same time, we are tirelessly working to improve the value of our services as a whole, offering promotions and pay-per-view (PPV) services, operating our own channels with sports, live music and other content, transitioning to high definition, and adding greater functionality to our set-top boxes.

We are also actively engaged in improving the quality of our services, improving call center response functions at our Customer Center, and offering better subscription support?all in an effort to offer broadcast services that satisfy our customers.
